Whatever you make, base it upon that which is most important to you. Only then will it have depth and meaning, and only then will it resonate with others.

About This Quote

This is a sad sad comment. We, as a world, need to stop making things based on what will sell and make us money. We must stop making things for the money and stop thinking that we need to make a product that will sell more than it needs to be made. More importantly, we need to stop creating things only because it will make us money.

If you make something with passion and love in it, you will get paid for it. But if you make something because you want to get paid, then you are making a product that is not of value. The fact that something has monetary value is not what matters most in life.

What matters most in life is being able to have some free time and some free time to feel the emotions that comes from being alive. Try working on some projects that have nothing to do with making a living. I am not saying that you should go out and choose a job that has nothing to do with your passions, but be careful of getting caught up in the hustle of the rat race where everyone is trying so hard just so they can have some peace of mind at the end of their day.
